I made some changes for reactions and it appears I have broken something. The reactions icon is now missing from the post actions bar. This is affecting all posts vs just the first one which ive seen some older topic covering. A reaction can be performed by hovering\clicking over the area for the reaction however.

When someone likes your (or someone else's) email message, the Thumbs-up icon appears in the email messages listed in your Inbox. When you open the email message, you'll see the Thumbs-up icon with a number next to it , indicating the number of people who like it.

We are using 1.9.8+ and I have a professor who suddenly has an icon which appeared in only one of her quiz questions. How do I get rid of the hand art/icon? How did it appear in the question or what does it indicate?

My guess is that she copied and pasted and some of the code got mixed up somewhere so that whatever punctuation was surrounding the text where the thumb icon is created that icon in the HTML editor. (Joseph posed what that combo might have been while I was typing this.)

Currently, if you "like"a discussion post, the border of the thumbs up icon changes from grey to red, but the icon stays outlined, not filled. The distinction is subtle, and difficult to impossible for users with colorblindness or low vision to notice.

This might be a minor for rest of community but it bothers me quite a bit personally. There is a heart icon representing "like" or agreement with the post. I think that choice of icon is not great as heart implies love, much stronger emotion than simple like or expression of agreement with what has been said. I often shy from pressing the button in situations where I would want to do it, because I feel like I need to be more invested in it to use "heart" button. If it was changed to something less powerful than representation of love, I would probably use it more often. (I might be only one who feels this way tho :) )

I don't use any of those services, maybe that's why it's throwing me off. Now that I think of it, I don't think I use anything else other than this forum that is using heart icon. Well, looks like it quite standard after all, so I guess I will have to adapt

We use this feature differently @Bastien_Siebman where we need the approval from a client before a task goes ahead. So maybe we need a way for everyone to choose their own icons so that it means different things in different use cases?

This open source icon is named "Thumbs up" and is licensed under the open source Apache 2.0 license. It's available to be downloaded in SVG and PNG formats (available in 256, 512, 1024 and 2048 PNG sizes).

It's part of the icon set "Carbon Icons", which has 2,103 icons in it.

If you need this icon available in another format, it should be pretty straight forward to download it as an SVG image file, and then import it into apps like Adobe Illustrator, Crello, Pablo or RelayThat. Converting it to an ICO, JPEG or WebP image format or file type should also be pretty simple (we hope to add that feature to Iconduck soon).

This icon can be used for both Personal & Commercial purposes and projects, but please check the license to see if the designer is requesting attribution (for example, a link back to their website).

Yes! This icon has been open sourced, and can be downloaded at no charge / for free. We also don't require you to sign up for Iconduck, but you can join our mailing list to get notifications on when new icons are available.

A full green thumbs-up icon means that the transaction was completed with a 3-D Secure authentication method, such as Digipass or a card reader. However, it doesn't necessarily mean the payment itself was processed successfully. Therefore, you should always check the transaction status to know whether you'll receive your money.

Just ask any traveler who's given a thumbs-up in Afghanistan. Or someone who's crossed their fingers in Vietnam or signaled "OK" in Brazil. All those gestures have offensive connotations away from American soil.
