This book was launched just today and am reading it (had to tear myself off from it to sent in this mail - the book is such a page turner)
It is part two of the Shiva Trilogy and a sequel to Immortals of Meluha. This is the site of the series. http://shivatrilogy.com/
I am surprised at reading such an intensely exciting fiction in English by an Indian writer. It is racy enough to compete with Harry Potter (which is one of my personal favourites)
More than that, I am surprised at reading a book that's become so famous while not exactly catering to the popular opinion erected and sustained by the Indian media.
Ok, back to the book now :-)
