nEcha nAyanAr(28thMarch2012)
In the town called kAmbIlI was the n^Echa n^AyanAr born. He came in the tradition having weaving as the profession. He had woven in his heart the admirable cloth of love for God, with all his devotional deeds being the fibers in it. The direction claded Lord wore his devotion and blessed him. With the mind that seats the hara's feet that are softer than the cotton, and the tongue movement triggered by the Holy Five
Letters, he wove clothings, cut-pieces and other garments which are flawless and supreme in quality for the devotees of the Naked Lord. His skill and professionalism gained him a big respect among the weavers and the customers, while he was modest serving
the needs of the devotees who sacrificed all their bonds. He was very much determined in doing the service everyday to meet the requirement of the devotees and the grace of Lord shiva. The garments which were not for ostentation and show-off but were used by the devotees as one of the needs, was supplied by that great n^AyanAr without any failure, whatever the quantity required be. The holy texts say taking care of the basic needs of the devotees who have dedicated their lives in the progress towards the Absolute Truth and thus work for the enlightenment of all the fellow creatures without bothering about their own wantings, is in fact one of the sacred worship to the Bull mounting Lord. The n^AyanAr who did the service without asking for returns always keeping His holy feet in his thoughts reached that graceful shade of the Lord. Let the wishful servicing of the n^Echa n^AyanAr stay in mind.

gaNanAtha nAyanAr(30thMarch2012)gaNan^Atha n^AyanAr did the very much important and promotional service for thae Lord and shaivam. It is the kind of service which is very much required now. He didn't stop at doing service on his own but rather trained a lot of enthusiatic people to do the service. This organised service will give very good results. All the great teachers of shaivam and sanathana dharma in general insist on the company of good people - devotees.
The
collective worship is always followed and considered superier since a long time. It gives way for people to learn, share good thoughts and serve the society ina much better way. If our ancient sages had not passed their marvelous explorations through their disciples and books but had they only concentrated on thier personalised service and development, the later generations would have walked in dark paths. Oh Lord! Let your grace flow through each of us to the entire Universe.
chIrkAzi , where the Immortal with His inseperable shakti resided in the time of one deluge, where the prodigy who brought the pride of shaivam to shine like the Sun - thirunyAnachampan^dhar (1) was born, was the place where gaNan^Atha n^AyanAr was born. He came in the family that considers the holy vEdas as their life. He excelled in his endeavours to do all the kinds of services to the elegant Lord who appeared in the boat there. His love for that Luminant Lord was overwhelming; his inclination to do the services was surplus; his mindset for doing the perfect work for that Perfect God was powerful; hence his hardwork was blessed by the hara to be great. Like the pond which distributes the water it has accumulated to the entire town, he trained a number of interested blessed souls in His work. Lot of people were attracted by
his perfection in love and service like the bees are attracted by the flower full of honey. It is the service that is the ultimate worship.
He trained them in many fields depending upon the skills required and the skills the persons possess. Growing and maintaining the gardens in the temple that give the garlands for the God, plucking the fresh flowers of flowing honey, making many mind-stealing garlands with them for the most beautiful mahEsha , collecting chill and clean water as well as cow-milk etc. for the anointment of the Lord of creatures, removing the dust from the temple of the Resurrector who removes the rot from the heart of real devotees, washing the floors and vessels, illuminating the abode of the Luminant with oil lamps,
chanting of charactors of the
Charming shiva were some among the services he trained them. He led an entire mass in the path of liberation. He transformed the society to be disciplined and delightful by doing the dearest of all services to the Lord.
With the wealth of truth, love and service he led his wedded life leading to the achievement of the goal of the family life. Offering respect and doing the needful he was a servant of devotees. He had a great respect for the boon of this world, thirunyAnachampan^dhar who removed the pests of false and immature philosaphy. His words and thoughts inspired him a lot. He lived for those high philosaphies transmitting the light to all around. He became the gaNan^Atha (Head of the group) of the shiva devotees (the soldiers of
the Lord) at the abode of the
Omnipresent. Let the splendid service of gaNan^Atha n^AyanAr lead and stay in the mind.

In the Kaveri flowing In the Kaveri flowing chOza kingdom is the town by name thirun^IdUr which is surrounded with the fields that smell the odor of mud made paste in honey that flows in the canals from the blooming flowers in that area. Came in the tradition of farming, devoted his heart and soul to the Lord who ripped the elephant apart, valourous and service mottoed. The blotless valor brought him wealth which worked at his place to feed the needs of
the devotees of the pashupati.
His untainted valor brought the defeated to take refuge in him. They assured him lots of wealth and request him to fight for them. Gauging the validity of them, he would go to fight the enemies like a titanic storm and return victorious with the gold and goods showered to him for it. For somebody else they could have got accumulated to go waste finally without giving added happiness but worries. But the n^AyanAr's intention was to serve. There would be the feasts going on without any break for the
people
who have the dancing Lord in their tongue. The gold and silver melted to greet the devotees with sandal and milk. The rice soaked in curd, ghee, vegetables, soup and his love exhausted the hunger from those who entered his house. His ripe devotion treated them with the sweet fruits with his mind enjoying in the fruit - Lord shiva. Like the drops of water coming to quench the earth that proceeds without any pause in between his service for the devotees continued till he reached the abode of the Absolute. Let the devotion of munaiyaduvAr n^AyanAr who dedicated all the wealth of his victories for the service of the Always Victorious Lord's devotees stay in the mind.
