Why no announcements / alerts :(

Dear all,
Normally before TCC events, I [and all other members here] would [happily] get announcements / alerts / registration links through the googlegroups, delivered into our inboxes. This has suddenly vanished after the TCC Road Race I.
I wonder why ! Any policy decision not to continue it?
It used to be extremely useful and now I, for one, certainly miss that :(
