தென் ஆப்பிரிக்க பாறை ஓவியத்தில் ஆதி தமிழ்

60,000 ஆண்டுகள் பழமை என்பது வட்டத்தில் உள்ள கல் அம்பின் காலமே ஒழிய ஓவியத்தின் காலம் அல்ல. இந்த ஓவியம் ஒப்புமைக்காக கல் அம்போடு காட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது என்பதே உண்மை. ஆனால் தென் ஆப்பிரிக்க பாறை ஓவியங்கள் 23,000 - 27,000 ஆண்டுகள் வரை பழமை கொண்டவை என அறியப்படுகின்றன. இந்த ஓவியத்தில் அம்பு எய்யும் கைகள் இணையாக உள்ளன. இயல்பில் அம்பு  தொடுக்க ஒரு கையாவது மடங்கி இருக்க வேண்டும். அதே போல இடையில் செயற்கையாக 6 கோடுகள் வரையப்பட்டுள்ளன. ஆண்குறி வளைவாக வரையப்பட்டுள்ளது. எனவே இவற்றை நோக்க எழுத்திற்காக, செய்திக்காக இவ்வாறு செயற்கையாக வரையப்பட்ட ஓவியம் என்று தெளிவாகிறது. இனி ஓவியத்தை பிரித்து படிப்போம். 

அம்பு தொடுத்த வில் ᗡ - தி, இணை கைகள் - ண், ஆறு கோடுகள் - இ, ஆள் - அ, பெரு வட்டமான புட்டம் (சப்பை) - ண, ஆண்குறி ⏝ - ன், கவட்டைக் கால் ∧ - க, இணைக் கால் - ண். இதில் உள்ள எழுத்துகள் திண்இ அணன்கண் என்பன. இவற்றை திணி அணங்கன் என்று புணர்த்தி படிக்க வேண்டும். திணி என்றால் தொடு, சேர் என்று பொருள். அணங்கன் என்றால் வேடன் என்று பொருள். இதாவது, (அம்பு) தொடுக்கும் வேடன் என்பது முழுப் பொருள். 

உலக மொழிகளிலேயே தமிழ் தான் முதன் முதலாக ஒலியன் (phonetic) முறையில் நெடுங் கணக்கை பெற்றது என்பதோடு அல்லாமல் எழுத்திலக்கணமும் புணர்ச்சி இலக்கணக் கூறும் பெற்ற மொழி என்பதற்கு இந்த ஓவியம் மேலும் ஒரு சான்று ஆகிறது.

அகராதியில் அணங்கன் என்ற சொல்லுக்கு பொருள் இல்லை. பின் எப்படி முடிந்தது என்றால்  சிந்து முத்திரையில் கான அணங்க  அணி என்று இருந்தது. கான என்பது காட்டை குறிக்கும். அணி என்பது கூட்டம் அல்லது படை பிரியை குறிக்கும். இதை கொண்டு தான் அணங்கன் என்றால் வேடன் என்று பொருள் கொண்டேன். அந்த முத்திரை இதோ இணைப்பில்.

 அண் என்பதற்கு உயர்ந்த என்று வேர் பொருள். பழமையில் விலங்குகளை வேட்டையாட அவற்றின் பார்வையில் படாமல் இருக்க  உயரமான மரங்களின் மேல் ஏறிக் கொண்டு  மரத்தின் அருகே ஏதேனும் விலங்கு வந்தால் அதன் மீது அம்பு எய்தி கொல்லுவர். இப்படி உயரத்தில் இருந்து வேட்டையாடியதால் அணங்கன் என்ற பெயர் ஏற்பட்டது போலும். வேள் என்றால் நெடிய என்ற பொருள். வேள் > வேட் + து > வேட்டு> வேட்டை என்றாலும் மரத்தின் மேலே மறைந்து கொண்டு விலங்குகளை அம்பெய்தி கொல்லுவது என்று பொருள். அந்த அணங்கன் முத்திரை இதோ இணைப்பில்.
