Brief report

The PASS trainers training was conducted for two days ( 8th and 9th of February ). It was  held in the premise of Hindu Endowment Hall in Penang. A total of 32 participants  participated in this training. On the first day the training started at 4 pm and ended at 10 pm. The participants enjoyed the session conducted by Mr CM Elantamil and the opening speech was by Mr Ragavan. On the first only 19 participants attended. The first session was conducted by Mrs Nirmala from AKPK and followed by Mr Krishnan ( WP coordinator). He conducted the  'ice-breaking' session and module 1(Parents Attitude). The new trainers enjoyed and interacted well. They obtained a lot of input about the first module. Module 2(Home Environment) was conducted by Dr S. Balasubramaniam who turned the trainers into architects in designing a place for learning. Following that the third module (Study Skill) was conducted by Mr. Ravi (Ipoh coordinator) and his fellow friend who is also a trainer. Everyone enjoyed the training session and had an idea about the modules. Later towards the night the trainers were  divided into 6 groups to discuss about the modules on how to deliver the information from the modules in class. After dinner, 4 groups were able to present their module according to their own creativity. The night ended at 10 p.m. The following day the session started at 8 a.m. and all the participants were punctual and no one was absent. In addition to that,  11 more new participants join in the session. After breakfast the remaining two groups presented their module presentation. The new comers were also put into groups and were able to present as well. The session ended by the closing speech by Mr. Raghavan. It ended at 12.30a.m.
