Appeals Court upholds ruling that Tamil asylum seekers were unlawfully detained on Diego Garcia
The British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT) Court of Appeal has upheld a ruling from December 2024 that found the unlawful detention of 64 Tamil asylum seekers, including sixteen children, on the island of Diego Garcia.
