TechAdapt Accessible Media Center v0.3.0 is now available

Hello all,

TechAdapt is pleased to announce the general availability of its TechAdapt Accessible Media Center (TAMC) version 0.3.0 software!  This release has two very important new features:

-- Support for the Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and later operating system.  Now, Mac users can now use TAMC to convert NIMAS and DAISY file sets into HTML and DAISY without using Windows!

-- Support for conversion of NIMAS file sets into DAISY 2005 Digital Talking Books.  DAISY DTBs produced by TAMC can be used with any self-voicing software capable of playing DAISY books, including the free AMIS player from the DAISY Consortium, most commercial DAISY readers and learning support systems for Windows and Mac OS X, and some note-takers and accessibility hardware devices.

This release also contains fixes for installation issues on Windows Vista and Windows 7 64-bit systems, as well as miscellaneous fixes and performance improvements.
