My son uses a scan and read software program names WYNN Wizard at home
and in school. It supports TEXT VIEW (text only) and EXACT VIEW (text
and images). Since my son uses WYNN Wizard in EXACT VIEW the text and
images need to be loaded. In years past, I've loaded text and images
by scanning and processing every page from textbooks used by my son.
Very tedious and time consuming. This year the school provided PDF
files of textbooks. This simplified the process. Didn't need to scan
pages and the PDF file could be sent to the WYNN Wizard Freedom Import
Printer. Some pages still required a fair amount of rezoning and
reprocessing. Recently a NIMAC file set was provided for my son's
science textbook. I used the TAMC converter to go from opf to rtf.
Loaded rtf file in Word to check it out. Looked great so sent it to
the WYNN Wizard Freedom Import Printer. Textbook (text and images)
loaded in WYNN Wizard. I don't think there are any errors and it
looks great in WYNN Wizard. I'm thrilled that my days of scanning
and processing pages from textbooks may be coming to an end.

Keep up the great work!!!

Becky, thanks for sharing this with the group. I'm a big fan of WYNN Wizard but it's not used much here in Wyoming. I wonder if anyone would explain the same process using Kurzweil 3000. Anybody?
