Hi Perry

It is good to see the effort

However, I am not a golfer but recognize the benefit of the course.

If it is up front costs and ongoing dues, I am out.

Consider a structure to let non golfers help but not have dues and perhaps higher per use greens fees in the event they had guests who play.

How will you handle renters if units who want to play.

I do cross country and snow shoe in the winter but I appear to pay TMA for that privilege.

We are already being taxed by the TMA to cover over a million dollars of losses every year for a private LLC. and in golf and the debt grows larger. Why the homeowners have to choke down the debt for other private LLC's is ridiculous. These secret homeowners are investing on the promise of a TMA bailout each year and all the financials, names, and budgets are never available?  It's out right theft, using the HOA by-laws as a club over everyone's head.

Slight correction.  #1 public course in Idaho and national recognition as public course.

What will you do about the two holes on leased land that led to the pension fund bring legal action against Tamarack and causing the demise of the course?

Our group has worked tirelessly to find all the facts pertaining to the purchase of the property and what we are able to do with it. There has been much misinformation over the years and we intend to shed light on the reality of the situation with the golf course and other potential assets of the resort. We will continue to update all the homeowners on the details of the plan as we progress. We are happy to address any specific concerns you may have and answer any questions as they come up.

I am very interested in regeneration of the golf course.  However, I will not commit resources until I am convinced that you (we) have a winning plan. 

 

I need much more detail.  What would be the relationship between your (our) operation and the resort? TMA? Valley county (back taxes?)?  North Lake Sewer and Water (back assessments)?  Lodge at Osprey Meadows “deck” facilities ?    How would you ensure that the State annual lease payments (covering a part of the golf course) would be timely made?   Who would maintain the course? With what equipment? Where would the golf carts come from?  What is your marketing plan and budget?  How will you handle conflicts of interest among the resort, TMA, the several sub entities, and certain key individuals, as they may affect the golf operation?  Have you fully analyzed the complaints of Steve Gustafson for insight into possible future problems?

I appreciate the feedback. We are diligently working to put together additional information in the upcoming weeks about our vision with the course. The goal is to bring back this amenity which would help raise depressed property values. Our letter was a first step to gage homeowner's interest level in our idea.
