We got a grant!

Look, we got a grant!  It's a $100 grant to use Shift Space's meta internet to create a treasure hunt story that leads people around the internet to help them learn how to do research on our site. 

This came out of Jim's original idea and I know that that's not something that we talked much about.  But the deadline popped up so I applied for it.  And we got some cash!

So that should at least pay for some tacos and pop as we meet to figure out how to fulfill this and other fun cartoon projects!

Your idea for a treasure hunt supporting socially responsible research got the 4th place in the trails category of the ShiftSpace commission program! and will be granted a $100 development grant from Turbulence.org.

I will send you the contract tomorrow and we will announce your winning on Wednesday at Dorkbot (which we would love for you to join) and we will post it on shiftspace.org right after too.

We're looking forward to working with you on this and to give you more feedback.

We will try to forward you some feedback from the jury too that might help you further in the development of your trail.

(we also fixed some bugs in trails, so authoring them should be easier now)
