If your product has multiple options, like colors and sizes, add a drop-down menu to your button to list each option. You can list options with or without prices. To gather product customization information from a customer, add a text box to your button. For example, if you offer custom engraving, customers enter the message they want engraved in the text box.

To change the default language, click the Country and language for button menu and select a country and language. If you change the country and language, verify that Currency is set appropriately.

To use your own button (not hosted by PayPal), select Use your own button image and then enter the URL of your button image. If your image is hosted on an SSL-secured server, change the text box to begin with

By default, transactions from your payment button are associated with your PayPal merchant ID. To associate transactions to an email address instead, click Use my primary email address. If your Profile contains multiple email addresses, click the address to use as the primary email address for this button.

My suspicion is that your production account is not configured to accept PayPal, which will prevent the button from even showing up in the Drop-in. Ensure that you have configured and verified a PayPal Business Account, and that it is enabled in the Control Panel. Once it is enabled, the button should automatically appear in instances of your Drop-in UI, or you can include it separately.

/client/checkout.html handles the client-side logic and defines how the PayPal front-end components connect with the back end. Use this file to set up the PayPal checkout using the JavaScript SDK and handle the payer's interactions with the PayPal checkout button.

Use the Javascript SDK to present PayPal payment buttons and accept credit and debit card payments, all on one page. Build and customize a card payment form to accept credit and debit cards. Style the card form to align with your business branding.

Reported Smart button code belongs to sandbox test environment, the payment attempt/notification will be directed to your sandbox test account. Please login to your sandbox account to access the test payment attempts and email notifications.

By default, PayPal system will generate Smart button code in Sandbox environment and merchant can test the integration using sandbox accounts.

Merchants need to create LIVE REST API credentials and pass/enter the LIVE API credentials in the Smart button code in order to receive payments in LIVE production.

I request to please use the updated button code on your website and process a test payments via card which is not linked to your PayPal account. Since, merchant can't process self payments.

With the Donate SDK, users can select the PayPal Donate button to donate in a pop-up overlaid on your website. This keeps users on your website instead of redirecting them to a donation page on PayPal.

Add up to 15 PayPal buttons to your website. Use each button to sell a single product, or enable customers to donate to a cause you choose. This is separate from adding a payment method to your Online Store in the checkout screen (Commerce plan) or accepting payments for online appointments (Premium plan).

As a result, each buyer might see a unique combination of buttons. Pay Later offers differ by country and have different buttons. To prevent certain buttons from displaying, see Disable funding in the JavaScript SDK reference.

The createOrder parameter sets up the details of the transaction. This parameter is called when the buyer clicks the PayPal button, which launches the PayPal Checkout window where the buyer logs in and approves the transaction on the paypal.com website.

Called when the button first renders. You can use it for validations on your page if you are unable to do so prior to rendering. For example, enable buttons when form validation passes or disable if it fails.

Set up your server to call the Create Order API. The button pressed on the client side determines the payment source sent. In the following sample, the payer opted to send their card as a payment source.

If your use-case permits, you can render individual, standalone buttons for each supported payment method. For example, render the PayPal, Venmo, PayPal Credit, and alternative payment method buttons on different parts of the checkout page, alongside different radio buttons, or on entirely different pages.

Even with standalone buttons, your integrations take advantage of the eligibility logic the PayPal JavaScript SDK provides, meaning only the appropriate buttons for the current buyer automatically display.

This table includes the available funding sources. By default, the payment buttons automatically render all eligible buttons in a single location on your page. If you need to override this, you can specify the buttons you'd like to show by following the Standalone payment buttons guide.

To add a PayPal button to a form with a file upload option, you need a form builder that supports both features. Popular options include JotForm, Wufoo, Formstack, and Formidable Forms. After setting up the form and configuring the PayPal integration, you can embed the form on your website or share its URL.

To guide users through the process, include instructions indicating that the payment step will follow the file upload. Users fill out the form, including the file upload, and upon submission, they are redirected to the PayPal payment page or presented with a PayPal button to complete the payment. Ensure you consult the documentation or support resources provided by your chosen form builder for detailed instructions.

Use the paypal-js npm package to integrate with front-end build tools. This package follows best practices such as loading the script asynchronously and providing a promise interface to know when script loading is complete.

Use the react-paypal-js npm package within the React.js framework. It brings the same functionality as the paypal-js package, but tailored to the style of the framework. It ships React.js components for Buttons, Marks, and Messages on top.

The PayPal button shows in english but the site is in french (WPML) and the browser language is also set in French.

What are the reasons PayPal is returning in english?

Thank you

The language that is being used for the buttons is decided by PayPal on their server. Our plugin gathers the customer details on the website and sends them to the PayPal server (such as IP, OS, language settings, etc). The PayPal server then reviews these details and decides what the customer should be seeing. The outcome can be different for every device, user or browser, so you might want to try this on another device and see if you still get the same outcome.

Currently, there is no option to override this situation and force 1 language for these buttons, but we do have a feature request open to get this introduced. You can find some details on this GitHub issue, that we are working on for this purpose.

You can place a PayPal / Stripe Buy Now button anywhere on your site where you want to sell something. Your customers can then pay for your products or services or they can pay by Debit or Credit Card or PayPal account.

In your page or post editor, you will see a button called PayPal Button to create shortcodes automatically.
Or if you want to manually make a PayPal button place [wpecpp name='Product name goes here' price='6.99'] in a post or page where you want your a PayPal button to show.
