Hello, I developed a exclusive receiver for Talos Rowing.

It can receive real time data from Taros Rowing via Bluetooth.
As data is displayed on a large LCD mounted on it, it would be visible enough even under strong sunlight.
And it have 2 buttons to control start/stop, rec/stop operation.
It will be very helpful to skipper!!

The latest version of Talos Rowing has a remote viewing feature (alpha) between two devices over WiFi (both devices will also need to install Android App. Talos Remote). What you have done, though, is quite novel and interesting. Would it be possible to use something like IOIO to collect more rowing metrics which are otherwise not available in a standard Android device?

Thank you for your answering, tshalif!
Yes, Though I haven't try it yet, I think that IOIO can collect some more rowing metrics, by adding some sensor circuit.
Just like it...
(It's somewhat expensive, I may be able to find cheaper way.)
#about GPS sensing,
#as GPS module is generally too expensive, I think that using GPS module contained Android device is the best way.

I guess that other device similar to IOIO, like ADK, Arduino, etc also can collect rowing metrics.

Does it make sense to you?
