Екатерина Алексеевна Yekaterina Alekseyevna known as Catherine the Great is the Russian monarch.She came to power following a coup d'état when her husband, Peter III, was assassinated. Russia was revitalised under her reign, growing larger and stronger than ever and has become recognised as one of the great powers of Europe. Her son, also called Peter, will most likely reign after her. Many wonder how much longer the old lady will live and what will happen to this great nation after her death. Her son is not looked on kindly by the nobles. Catherine freed Russian nobles from compulsory military or state service, but it is rumoured that Peter plans to undo that. As relations with Austria and France grow tense. Peter’s son’s Alexander are not as well known as his father’s at his time.

This idea is that you are a person at court, with a reason to be at more than one court. The first larp is at the Winter Palace in Russia because Andrea and I have always wanted to run a larp in this setting but it will move around europe. You could be a courtesan, or manservant. You could be  an ambassador to the court. Come up with an idea. Email me the more interesting the more likely you are to get a spot and the more rope we will give you. You have to level up in this larp.

We are planning for first larp to be run around October. NPCs are welcome :) but then you don’t get to give characters
