Neighborhood Clean-up Planning

Hello Tallac Village Neighbors!

We are in the beginning stages of scheduling a neighborhood clean-up. This will include any interested neighbors walking down main streets in the neighborhood like 25th Ave, 27th Ave and possibly 21st Ave from 58th Street to about 63rd Street. I would like to schedule it as soon as possible for the coming weeks, preferably before the rain starts. I would like to know if Sundays would work for everyone, either evening time or morning. November the 5th, I am unavailable to participate since I will be on the American River Parkway all day for an event. Available dates include October 22nd and 29th. We will need probably 20 people. The litter doesn't seem to be too extensive at this point but, we can get as much as possible before the rainy season in order to catch small items before they go down the street drains and cause problems. 

We will also be contacting some volunteers from high schools to help us out. Please bring items with you like gloves, trash grabbers, etc. I'll provide heavy duty trash bags the day of and we will agree on a meeting place prior to beginning. I'm not sure if we will have a dumping container yet. If not, it may be necessary to use our own household trash bins.
