Hello Tallac Village Neighbors, 

During our last meeting at Colonial Heights Library, we met with one of our new neighbors, Randy Stannard of Oak Park Sol Community Garden. Randy will begin another community garden right here in our neighborhood called Root 64, located on 64th Street between Fruitridge and 21st Ave where he and his wife recently moved in. He even plans of having a farm stand beginning around May or June. Randy also runs the Harvest Sacramento collaborative and has previously worked with Soil Born Farms so he's not new to farming and gardening! We are really looking forward to providing him with the neighborly support that we are so good at giving and perhaps hosting some special events in the coming months. 

Furthermore, we will be celebrating National Night Out again this summer, most likely to take place on 21st Ave like last year. Bring your chairs, some musical instruments, friends, family, and maybe the pets. This is such an exciting time for our neighborhood. 

Reminder-Please do not hesitate to utilize the City's 311 App on your phone or the 311 phone number to file complaints or requests you may have. Nothing will get done if you don't speak up.
