Phil, my father, Marco fondly rememers your father Ruby, from
softball. i remember your mother was into the color red. you and your
brother were incredible athletes.
Gary, my dad still gets a big kick out of your father playing catcher
and talking to the batters. when i think of those days watching them
play ball, i can remeber your dad teasing the batters to make them
swing.
Art. your parents are fixtures in my mind of T T. sitting on the
porch of the casino in the evening when we would go to the store( when
it moved to the casion) to buy ice cream.
Jon. If i remember right, you are Greek. If i am correct my father
remembers your parents well because we are Greek jews as well.
my parents have a ton of pictures and 8mm movies of the adult parties
at the casino, color war shows, the carnivals, and backwards day.
do you guys remember trips to Bear mountain, Cortland bowling lanes,
the beach shopping center to see the movies. Rio's Pizza.
The poor boy that drowned in the lake during the summer we were there.

I reminded my dad about playing catcher, and he had a good laugh. He
remembered saying, "don't let this strike go by, schmuck!" and the
batter would swing at a pitch over his head.
I'm in Rockland, but come in to New York from time to time. Would love
to meet for coffee or a beer.
