Childhood revived

I just thought I would google Tall Timber to see if there was anything
that could rivive my fond memories..and amazingly I did. Tall Timber
bungolow colony was where I couod say my fondest childhood memoires
lie. My father Morris Battino and mother Sima would scrape together
what little money we had then to take the family up there for the
summer and camp with my brother Michael in 1964-1967 I believe. I was
seven when we first went up there. Me and my freinds would go
exploring for haunted houses nearby and since we had no video games or
even television for that matter...our imaginations blossomed.
Campsongs...swimming....ice-cream...color war....insect fog machine
(stay inside) yeah right that helped. I wish I could give my kids the
time I had...a time that allowed a child to savour his and her
inocence...bond with family and true friends. If anyone has some
