This incredibly powerful theory is based on a new approach to mathematics. Most mathematicians consider counting to be the basis of math, but this theory derives the number 1 by rewriting the 0 as a 1. Rewriting is the same principle as when in a computer electrons in RAM are written to pits on a DVD. The same thing is copied to a different form. electrons -> pits, 0 -> 1.

Thus explaining the origin of the number 1.

The meaning of this theory is that instead of that the fundamental unit of existence is a particle, it is a symbol. The theory asserts that there are things in the universe which are accurately and exhausistively described with the number 0, and 1 etc. So it means for example in one hand you have this thing which is 0, and in the other hand you have the 0 which describes this thing. 

This approach immediately explains the overwhelming succes mathematics has had in describing the universe. Simply the elements in math exist in the universe on a 1-to-1 basis.
