Hello, supporters of Talking Radical!
As readers of these emails will be aware, The Media Co-op has been an important part of my work in recent years. It is a grassroots, independent outlet that has been publishing online, movement-focused media in so-called Canada for almost two decades. I was very involved at the local level in Sudbury, Ontario from 2010 to 2015, and since 2020, I have been a board member and a volunteer editor. Our AGM is coming up at 3pm Eastern on Sunday, December 7. AGMs aren't always the most fun thing in the world, but they are an essential part of keeping a formal organization afloat. If you are a reader or supporter of grassroots, independent media, we'd love if you could come to the meeting, learn a bit about our work and even how to get involved, and help us reach quorum.
