Hello, supporters of Talking Radical!
I had a successful launch event in my hometown last night for Listen! Knowing the World and Fighting to Change It. After working on it for so long, it was exciting to have the opportunity to finally engage directly with people about some of the ideas in the book. (I've attached a photo taken at the event.)
There are, of course, other ways to learn more about the book. You can read a short excerpt that was published yesterday by The Media Co-op. You can check out a half-hour interview with me on a local TV show -- the interview is fairly wide ranging and touches on social movements, the state of the world, and my earlier books as well as Listen!. And you can register for the virtual launch event happening at 7pm Eastern on Tuesday, October 28. I'll be in conversation with physician, activist, and author Baijayanta Mukhopadhyay at that event, and all you need to do to register is email in...@fernpub.ca.
(As well, those of you in Sudbury, Ontario, can plan to come to the in-person launch happening there at 1pm on Oct. 30, Room C-104, Laurentian University, 935 Ramsey Lake Road.)
