Hello, supporters of Talking Radical!

My new book, Listen! Knowing the World and Fighting to Change It, will be released by Fernwood Publishing on October 21. You can order a copy here.

There are three launch events that you can attend – the details are below and I've attached images with all of the information as well.

The most broadly accessible will be the virtual event. I'll be in conversation about the book with Baijayanta Mukhopadhyay (author of A Labour of Liberation and Country of Poxes) at 7pm Eastern on October 28. To register, email in...@fernpub.ca.

I will also be doing in-person events in Hamilton and Sudbury, Ontario. The Hamilton event will be at 7pm on October 23 at The City & The City Books (181 Ottawa Street North). I'll be in conversation with Jane Mulkewich. The Sudbury event will be at 1pm on Thursday, October 30 in room C-104 at Laurentian University (935 Ramsey Lake Road). I'll be in conversation with sociologist Anas Karzai. (Many thanks to Jen Johnson and the Faculty of Arts at Laurentian for making this one happen!)

I'll be sending more updates about the book release over the next few weeks...plus I have a new entry in my series of interviews about learning in, from, and for movements that will be out at the end of this week or the beginning of next week.
