Hello supporters of Talking Radical,

I'm writing today to share the latest in my occasional series of
interviews with activists and organizers about learning in, for, and
from social movements. In today's interview, I speak with Saleh
Waziruddin. He is based in Niagara, Ontario, and he is currently active
with the Niagara Region Anti-Racism Association. He talks with me about
his recent learning about the revolutions of the 1970s, particularly in
Grenada, and how he sees their relevance to Canada today; about
distinguishing anti-racism-inflected public relations from things that
genuinely challenge white supremacy; and about the importance of
learning about the history of local struggles in your area.
