Bringing up recent news, what thoughts in general do you have about the families from Latin America that came to the United States to seek Asylum? The parents are being prosecuted as they wait for a trial and separated from their children. The kids are being mistreated and made fun of by ICE officials in the government agencies that they are being held at. Until now there are many families that are still separated and and there is formal system to unite these families. Many children were not reported that they arrived with a parent or family  member and are in their system as an unaccompanied minor which will make it harder for their parents to ever reach them. These kids are sent to foster homes, many here in Michigan as well. On June 20, 2018 President Trump signed an executive order reversing the separation of families so they will be detained together moving forward and now families are encouraged to seek for asylum at ports of entry.

I do believe in being kind and respectful to all people.  I also believe in upholding laws and following rules.  If you don't want to be separated from your children, then do not attempt to enter a country illegally.  If there is a chance that you will be separated from your children while entering the country illegally, then maybe this would serve as a deterrent for breaking the law.  I know that people might get mad at me for saying this, but I don't understand why our country gets bashed for enforcing rules and laws..... There are legal ways to enter a country and apply for citizenship.  Correct?
