Easter. A mix of Bible and pagan rituals

Does God mind such a mixture? When Moses went up the mountain to get
the 10 commandments etc, the people that God led out of Egypt began
to party. There was immortal dancing and other such things.

They also made a golden calf and began to worship it. But they called
all of this a" festival to Jehovah". (Ex 32:5) Did that make it
+right?

No way. 3000 Israelites were killed that day.Just like oil and water
don't mix, neither does true worship and pagan ceremonies

So does Easter mix the two? Affirmative. Cute little bunny rabbits and
painted eggs all point to pagan rituals. Even the name Easter is taken
from a pagan sex goddess, Notice:

"The name Easter comes from Eostre, an ancient Anglo-Saxon goddess,
originally of the dawn. In pagan times an annual spring festival was
held in her honor. Some Easter customs have come from this and other
pre-Christian spring festivals." (Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia)

Thus why not worship God with the real truth, and stay away from
contaminating it with false pagan practices that God clearly doesn't
approve of. .

Sincerely James
