Hello,

I'm wondering if there are any people on usenet that believe as I do; people
that believe in the biblical Christ, in a young earth, in salvation by faith
and grace alone, etc. I'm a Protestant, fundamentalist Christian seeking
other like-minded believers for fellowship. Please post if you are one!

God bless,
Jason

Thanks, laogz. What does your name mean? It's great to meet another
brother in Christ on usenet! Glory to Him.

Haha. That's the truth.

Awesome verses. God is good!

May God bless you in your endeavors. By the way, how is your web site and
sermon ministry coming along?

Nothing. Rather than picking a name others might find pretentious, etc. I
chose to let my mind wander. It's unique (I guess you could pronounce it
"logs") and hopefully steps on nobody else's nickname.

A very sad truth that I learned several years ago.

The website is a church website and I encoude the preacher's sermons into mp3
format. Since I've had more computer experience than others, I volunteered to
convert and distribute the mp3s. I think its great that there is a forum like
free.christians.binaries where such files can be offered. I have tried to
follow netiquette and only offer those files where they are accepted.
We're hoping to buy more space to allow more sermons online than one (which
is all we can handle right now because of a picture gallery). In the near
future, we'll be able to add our archives. Our church membership is growing,
even in a small community with a few mega-churches.
Every Sunday we have to place folding chairs in addition to the pews and last
night, we had to add chairs at the evening service! Our church construction
(adding on to the old building) is coming along well.

Thanks for asking.

I've read others coming after you, and all I can offer is this:

Luke 6:22-23 KJV
(22) Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate
you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as
evil, for the Son of man's sake.
(23) Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is
great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

God Bless You. Have a great day!
