We all have heard many explanations concerning the
mark of the Beast, the most elaborate ones are from
Pastors coming from renown theological schools. However
even their interpretation based upon deep philosophical
and doctrinal rationalization, does not withstand the
test of one verse of the Bible. This verse is a spiritual
gauge, by which you can assess the extent of the damage
caused by the Christian denominations misinterpreting
the word of God, and also a great tool to measure how
far they have erred from the truth.
Rv:19:20: And the beast was taken, and with him the FALSE
PROPHET that wrought MIRACLES before him, WITH WHICH HE
DECEIVED THEM THAT HAD RECEIVED THE MARK OF THE BEAST,
and them that WORSHIPPED his image. These both were cast
alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
The Holy Spirit of God revealed to John that the men who
received the mark of the Beast were deceived by the
miracles wrought by the false prophet. The Revelation
given to John discloses that the mark is directly
linked to the worship of the Beast. When we put together
all the pieces of the puzzle, the false prophet,
the miracles, the deception, the worship, it is very
frightening to become conscious of this irrefutable
fact that the only possible place where we can receive
the mark of the beast is at Church, or a house of prayer,
or at a spiritual Crusade.
Going back to Rev 13:16 we understand that this is
through deception the Beast caused all to receive his
mark. It is also clear that the words false prophet
mean that we are not dealing with a genuine prophet,
but rather with a wolf in sheep's clothing presenting
himself as a minister of Christ. So he can be a priest,
a pastor working miracles in our Christian Churches,
but how a so called man of God can be associated with
the "buy or sell" of Rv:13:17:
"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had
the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of
his name."
The wise Virgins of the Gospel of Matthew are giving us
an important clue, the Foolish Virgins are deeply involved
in the "buy or sell" process:
Mt:25:9: But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there
be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that
SELL, and BUY for yourselves.
This was the reply of the wise virgins concerning the Oil
and the "sell and buy" practice the foolish virgins were
involved in. Please add with us these new building blocks,
Oil (symbolizing spirit), sell and buy, and Foolish Virgins
to the aforementioned data, false prophet, miracles,
deception, and the worship of the Beast.
There is also another relevant fact related in the book
Acts of the Apostles concerning a certain man, called
Simon, using sorcery, who bewitched the people of Samaria.
Philip preached in Samaria the things concerning the
kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, Simon
himself believed and when he was baptized, he continued
with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and
signs which were done. Peter and John also visited Samaria,
and when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles'
hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money:
Acts:8:20: But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with
thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may
be PURCHASED with money.
No men can buy or sell the Holy Spirit of God also called
in Revelation the Seal of God. So the only spirit that can
be purchased with money is the spirit of Satan, called in
Revelation the Mark of the Beast.
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark,
or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."
We can be certain that no man can buy or sell, save he that
has the mark of Satan, because the Holy Spirit is a free Gift.
No man can buy or sell, save he that has the name of Satan,
the wise virgins are of Christ, John wrote in Revelation:
Rv:22:4: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be
in their foreheads.
No man can buy or sell, save he that has the number of the
beast, the wise virgins would never forsake the name of
Christ for a million of dollars, not even for the number
of absolute wealth, which is the number of a man, the
number of Solomon:
1Kgs:10:14: Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon
in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents
of gold.
Christ, being absolutely sure of the faithfulness and obedience
of the elect, declared: " I will write upon him the name of my
God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem,
which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write
upon him my new name."
Without realizing it, you may have been part of this colossal
trade revolving around the anointing. In spite of the fact that
the most prolific Ministries are collecting yearly between 100
and 50 millions of dollars from the marketing of their Anointing,
yet they will try to convince you this is the Holy Spirit of God.
They will argue, they are selling no Anointing and you are not
buying it, however they will persuade you to give an offering.
Remember again this verse:
Acts:8:18: And when Simon saw that through laying on of the
apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, HE OFFERED THEM MONEY,

Actually to understand the meaning of the beast you have to look to
Dan 7. It talks about 4 beasts which are explained as 4 empires:
Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome.
Rev 13 talks about 2 beasts. By extension "beasts" can refer to
leaders of the "beast" - or empire.
The historical fact is that the Holy Roman Empire existed from 800 AD
to 1806. And there were always 2 beasts who ruled over this empire -
the Holy Roman Emperor and the Pope, who began the empire by crowning
Charlemegne on Christmas Day 800 AD.
If the prophecy is true then a Pope will be able to perform miracles
and give power to a ruler of the European Union, which is the latest
incarnation of the ancient Roman Empire. (First there was "pagan" Rome
from 27 BCE to 325 CE. Then Christian Rome from 325 to 476 in the
West. Then the Holy Roman Empire from 800 CE to 1806. The Holy Roman
Empire was ended by Napoleon who tried to created the New Holy Roman
Empire, but he was defeated. He was the first 6 or 666. And he escaped
from his prison to try and create the evil empire again but was
defeated again, just like in Rev 20.
The next 6 in 666 is Hitler, who conquered all of Europe in his
attempt to bring about the 3rd Reich - the 1st Reich being the Holy
Roman Empire. He predicted his empire would last for a thousand years
like the Holy Roman Empire.
The final antichrist will be the last 6 in 666. He will come to power
in peace though - the leader of the European Union - and the Pope will
be able to perform miracles to give him authority and power.

Many of those in Christian history.
>So he can be a priest,
>a pastor working miracles in our Christian Churches,
>but how a so called man of God can be associated with
>the "buy or sell" of Rv:13:17:
This "buy or sell" prophecy was already fulfilled. During the sporadic
persecutions of Christian in the Roman Empire they sometimes demanded
that people offer sacrifices to idols to get their papers so they
could buy and sell. Christians who didn't sacrifice to idols wouldn't
be able to buy and sell.
>"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had
>the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of
>his name."
The beast is the Roman Empire. The number refers to Caesar Nero, whose
name converted to Hebrew adds up to 666. He was the Emperor of Babylon
who started the Christian persecution; he also burned down Rome which
fits prophecy. He was also the 6th emperor of Rome counting Julius
Caesar.
The number six is millenial. The early Christians believed that there
would be 6 days or 6 thousand years of rule of man, where Satan is the
King of Babylon (Is 14) and the ruler of the world, - 6 thousand days
of work, toil, pain, heartache, and destruction. Then the 1 thousand
years of peace and rule by God. As Jesus said, he is Lord of the
Sabbath.

The whole business about the Pope being the anti-Christ is based on
politics, not spirituality. When Luther was taken "captive" in the
Wartburg by Hutten and Sickingen, who then proceeded to display their
own "holiness" by their own murderous rampages, his whole emphasis
changes. From being the heroic lone monk who pinned the 96 points on
the church door (actually a common custom in those days), he becomes
the man who supports princely politicians from popley power, and the
man who urges the princes to demonise the pope and massacre the
peasants. The German Princes had not forgotten the earlier
excommunication by a Pope of a German emperor, but to get rid of the
Pope's moral authority they needed a spiritual spokesman. They found
it in Luther.
The real fruit of the Reformation can be seen in the 10 million dead
of the Wars of the Reformation, Martin Luther's teachings on the Jews
later adapted by Hitler, the 25,000 sects which now constitute the
Protestant "church", Germany's population decimated from 16 million to
about 6 million in a century, the lack of a renaissance in Germany
(yet Catholic Italy had one), and the weakness of the church today.
The doctrine of Papal Anti-Christ isn't worth the paper it is written
on. It is a load of garbage.

The book of Revelation was written to encourage Christians undergoing
savage persecution. It does have meanings beyond its time. But as
far as I am concerned 666 is one short in each case from 777. Seven
was regarded by the Jews as the "perfect number". In other words the
"Anti-Christ" will simply be a man, an imperfect being who falls
short of the perfect, unlike Christ, who nevertheless due to the
enormous power he will have from economic, military and spiritual
forces, will be able to force everyone to toe the line.
We are not given a clue in the code as to who he will be. And I don't
for a minute think he will be European. If the Marian warnings of
recent decades are to be given any authority, Europe is going to be
destroyed. I think God has had enough of a continent which has had
the church for nearly 2000 years and still can't set aside its eternal
wrangling.
