This conference examines the ways in which Islam, Buddhism, Judaism and
Christianity address the individual and collective use of violence from
a specifically theological perspective. The diverse panel of speakers
has been asked to assess the extent to which theology can be cited as a
pretext or motivation for resorts to violence
