Did you cut and paste, or type that
out stroke by stroke? The glib philosopher! LOL

I've got a nice blue book , Biblical type
paper quality, with a pretty gold
bookmark here.. I can touch and feel it. mmmm. ;-)

I like the idea of the Heirarchy, nevertheless..
Baffling and mind boggling but also indicative
of the Urantia idea that eternity contains
constant expansion and progression.

After all,
whoever really is satisfied with the first
dinky level that mankind has come up with
of H E A V E N? Some of us have never fallen
for "just that"..

Out of context,ej, this lays an egg.
These kind of numeric explanations
don't move me.. even in context, anyway.
But I do vibe WITH the many other word
elements
of the Unrantian Heirarchy..
and so "they" speak to me in a totally different
way .

Sound vibration , numbers, calibrations
under headings of known human words, are
still but frames.. as is the Urantia book.

All of us are limited by
language.. to translate what we "feel"
and "grasp".. of the far grander Universe

The usefulness of this?
For a certain kind of autistic mind,
numbers such as this might be 10 times
more zingy than 3 pretty words.

God embraces variety..

Tell us about what all this supposed to mean, please.
Did Hawkins channel the figures?
What is the scale? 0=?, 1000=?
Did he use a pendulum?
Why didn't he list the anti-christ
or satanism or paganism?
thanks, maz

Dr. Hawkins uses muscle kinesiology for his calibrations. It's a simple
yes/no test or an above/below a number. He has a whole scale of levels
of consciousness which these numbers are from.

It takes two people to do a calibration and both must calibrate above
200 to get a valid reading. One person stands with one arm held firmly
straight out to the side parallel to the floor, the other asks a
question and tries to push down on the arm. if the statement is true
the arm can't be pushed down, if it's false the arm can't be held firm.
he says that doing it this way eliminates thinking as a factor.
I think that these are answers to peoples particlar questions in a
session, and not a definitve all encompasing statement on the hstory of
religion.

Are they from a book?

The dude uses kinesiology to muscle test for the
answers. It's his contention that the mind/body
knows the truth, & the strength of the resistence
during muscle testing determines what level it
calibrates with. The scale is 0 to 1,000. It's an
intesting read "Power Vs. Force", but I don't
think his stuff stands up. Bright guy, though.

yeah Allen
I read the last book first. His stuff stands up in parts, like anything
else that comes from a "true" enlightenment expreince and then gets
formulated into some kind of established "truth". I don't think the
calibration/kinesiology stands up. His concepts and exercises of
recontextualization is good stuff though.
anyway the point of my friend sending it to me was to show me that the
old man at EA got beat ot by colonics 190 to 165. The course stands at
600, the exect point between unenlightened and enlightend. And he
equates Christian "Heaven' to the Buddhist Lotus or Pure Land
Over 200 is in the positive range, 400 unconditional love(which
interstingly is what he rates AA as a group), 600 is enlightened, over
a 1000 is outside of human possibility. jesus buddha krishna and

Well, kinesiology only makes sense to me if the
body is totally left to the Holy Spirit's interpretation and use.

So its not mind/body knowing, it is HS functioning through it.
(to me)

I have been training kinesiology in the form of giving my
body parts (head/arm) away, so to speak, as pendulum. I really do not
control the movements, and it is a perfect way to communicate
with the Holy Spirit, joined with inspiration.

It is true, though, that one can bypass the ego with this.
But it needs training and vigilance at some point to work
in service of others as well.

We should all play with this more! :-)

I've got all three books, but I've only
read "Power Vs Force" all the way. Your
take is pretty much the same as mine. I
think the guy's got something, but like
you said, it's "formulating truth" that
seems to mess guys up most of the time.

I thought 500's the exact point between
between the two? At any rate, bullshit.

Like many things interesting stuff, but
best mainly taken with a grain of salt.

Yeah, I think kinesiology has merit, I just
wouldn't trust it for discerning absolute
truth. The problem is the vessel. A person
being muscle tested, as well as the one who
does the testing, has preconceived notions
about various topics. I don't know that one
can keep human error out of the equation.

Motivation is key-note here, I guess. :-)
We can try a little test! You focus on an issue
or topic of relevance for you. Keep it for you.
My only motivation is solely being of help,
being the messenger of a passage of the Course
that corresponds with this. I will use kinesiology
to receive HS's suggestion and send you the results.
OK? The only error that can occur is in your mind
when connecting the dots. On my side error is impossible.
LOL!

He also does it while the person holds something. If it's good energy
or not.

But it also could be the power of suggestion.

Wayne Dyer tells about doing it with his teenage son, having him hold
an apple (or some fruit) which is positive and then holding a heavy
metal CD the kid was listening to- which is (he proved) negative
energy.

Seems like it would be whatever anyone believed it to be.

But, back to your small offering..

In the categories of good and bad, of course
belief rules.

In the categories of the energy movement
expressed or not expressed
that opens up a wider base of actual
experience.. more diverse measurements.

You've only read of it then?
Not experienced anything like it anywhere
else, any where? In no time in your life?

No I didn't look at them all.

He (john the b) still gets decent press, then.
Imagine that.

I should post you some from the Urantia book ..
john the b rates his own chapter with 12
subheadings in detail.

Mohammed at the time he wrote the Koran 740
Mohammed later in life (35) 130 (Used the Way of the Sword)

How could this be please? Mohammad became enlightened at the age of 40, not 35! And he wrote the Quran from age 40 until his death at 63. So if the Quran calibrates at 740, then surely Mohammad who wrote it, cannot have fallen below that?
