Hi There,
This week I feel inspired to talk on: Living a "Thanks-in-Advance"
Life.
With Thanksgiving coming up, let's talk about a whole new way to look
at gratitude.

If you feel inspired to join me and other like-minded people for a
lecture and discussion on this topic, we meet Thursday in the
acimgather room on pal talk. We meet at 6:30 pm pacific time (9:30
EST).

You can join us this way:

1) Click on this link: www.acimgather.org/instructions.htm
for information on how to access paltalk and the ACIMgather room.

2) The option to listen via radio through your computer through this
link: www.acimgatherradio.org.

You can also visit my site: www.SherylValentine.com and click on
'lectures' for more information.

Please feel free to let me know if you'd like to be removed from this
list!

Thanks so much!

Enjoy Today!

Enjoy today!

Sheryl, I don't know if you ever check back here to see if anyone
comments, but why don't you come back and write with us again?

It seems like the dynamics have changed and it's much nicer and more
peaceful on the ng now.

I know, it must be my mind that has changed but whatever, it seems to be
happening and I would love to keep it up this way.

Maybe I finally learned I don't have to tie in with and get involved with
everything and everyone. And I don't have to read something I don't feel is
THE TRUTH and try and correct it and give my version of it. Which seems to
make people defensive and piss them off...

Let all things be exactly as they are.

The newsgroup is a wonderful place to learn, remember, practice.

Of course, m aybe you already did this and don't need it anymore.

Hi Carrie
I appreciate your comments. Several years ago the ng was somewhat of
an addiction, and I was able to give it up about the same time I gave
up smoking! lol.. Yes it's a great way to practice, but every day
life has a way of doing that too. Mostly I don't write on very many
internet groups because I don't have the time, and I can see how it
was a big distraction in the past to keep me from being focused on
other things. Not that I didn't find great value here, and it's
exciting to see how several people I met here are now doing more
things in the course world. Doug Thompson, Carmen Cameron and maybe
even Deborah Maltman, and Lee Flynn (hopefully!), are all speaking or
going to, on acimgather. And of course Doug has finally come out with
that wonderful published version of the urtext. I'm really honored to
have interacted with everyone here on the ng. So it seems that some
of us rebel minds here on the ng, have something to offer in the
course community as well... I often think of Nancy and wonder what
she's up to? Anyhoo, Much love to you Carrie and all my pals here...
keep on keepin on...see ya around the internet. Sheryl

Of course... I just am feeling really good about the newsgroup and
everyone on it, right now. Maybe because I too, took a break and came back.
I guess if I can feel good about the newsgroup from hell, and keep feeling
peace while participating on it,. dealing with "the world" will be a piece
of cake.
I was just looking at your blog, it's really nice and I love the graphics
you find to put on with it.
Oh, Nancy is on FaceBook (if you want to talk about addicting that can be
(LOL) though she doesn't seem too active in it. I think at some point people
just outgrow the internet, or dicsussion groups.
Jeanette is another one who has. I'm glad she and I let whatever issues
we thought we had go and remembered we were (and had been) friends, and
joined in this. People we don't seem to get along with are our greatest
teachers, aren't they?
