Hi There,
I'm now speaking on Tuesdays instead of Thursdays on acimgather.

This week I feel inspired to talk on: Ego's Toolbox
In A Course in Miracles we are urged not to try and change things "out
there, but to choose instead to change our mind. My friend Pamela
dislikes the phrase "easier said that done", nevertheless, changing
our mind definitely falls under that category, if you know what I
mean. On Tuesday I'll be talking about the ploys of ego that
keep us from changing our mind. If this sounds interesting to you
then:

Please join us in the acimgather room on pal talk. We meet Tuesday
evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 pm PST. (8:00 MT, 9:00 CT, 10:00 ET)

You can join us this way:

1) Click on this link: www.acimgather.org/instructions.htm
for information on how to access paltalk and the ACIMgather room.

2) The option to listen via radio through your computer through this
link: www.acimgatherradio.org.

You can also visit my site: www.SherylValentine.com and click on
'lectures' for more information.

Please feel free to let me know if you'd like to be removed from this
list!

Thanks so much! Much Love to you, Sheryl

Enjoy today!

Do you have a link to this?
I'm trying to think why anyone would want to talk about ego and what
it might use. Giving attention to it. Like making a problem real first, in
order to then try and get rid of it /solve it.
It seems like a distraction.

AHhhh. Deborah, I thought of that book the other day in regard to this
topic... a really great book! I'll have to pull it out. Hope life is
going well for you

Maybe we should just accept it.
Love and accept the little bugger...

Thanks
Sounds like it might be good. I'll look for it after the Christmas rush.

Please pardon me for butting in here, but whenever I hear the advice
that to look at ego is to "make it real," I'm reminded of this
passage:

T 9 D 2. We have repeatedly stated that beliefs of the ego CANNOT be
shared, and THIS IS WHY THEY ARE NOT REAL. How, then,
can UNCOVERING them MAKE them real?

To uncover/understand error is not to make it real but to never be
distracted by it again. How can what remains "covered" be "undone?"
Isn't that the whole purpose of A Course in Miracles -- to undo ego
beliefs so Reality is revealed?
