I have reported the incidents to my IP and they will be tracking the Baha'i
al-Qa'eda back to their source.
Tis the season to be jolly ;-P

All religions are sick men's dreams, false -- demonstrably false -- and
pernicious .
- Ibn Warraq
Belief in the sickness as the sickness - It was [Religion] which first
painted the Devil on the world's wall; it was [Religion] which first brought
sin into the world. Belief in the cure which it offered has now been shaken
at its very roots: but 'belief in the sickness' which it teaches and
propagates continues to exist - Nietzsche
If symptoms are as you describe, it's one of the newer viruses that forges the
"from" field using names from the same address book it uses to select its
victims. This means the virus isn't coming from the people you think it's
coming from, but from somebody who has both you and the "senders" in his/her
address book, and that person probably doesn't even know he/she is infected,
because any reply you send will go to somebody else (which, of course, is why
the virus is written that way).
No malice required (except on the part of the virus' original writer).

Did you tell your ISP that you are getting email from people who claim to not
know you, asking you to take them off your ad hoc email list? Some of these
folks who don't like being on your email list might not even be Baha'is, and if
you are emailing someone who has a virus, how do you know that isn't what is
triggering your current attack? Remember why some folks see Fred as a cyber
terrorist. Don't be so loud here about being the victim of 'those bahais'.
Nima,
If it is the W32/Klez.h@MM virus, that is probably happening to most of us.
Fortunately, my McAfee has been catching them right away as well.

You wouldn't have to. You just need to be in the address book of somebody who
also has Alex Barmaki in his/her address book.

I don't recall getting an email from him addressed to you asking you to leave
him in peace. So, I'll bite, "Who is Alex Barmaki"?

I have no idea. See if you can find out.
