"Bahai roosters", an exellent quip with a truthful pun to it QisQos.
likewise the Bahai's think they were the first ones to crow about,
12 principles, when in fact all these *platitudes* were around long
before Babi/ Bahaism came into existance.

"The Twelve Principles Baha'i philosophy can be summed up in this
statement: "The earth is but one country and mankind its citizens."
Behind this maxim are the twelve principles of Baha'i thought:(10)'

1. Oneness of God.
2. Oneness of Religion.
3. Oneness of Mankind.
4. Elimination of prejudice of all kinds.
5. Individual search after truth.
6. Universal auxiliary language.
7. Equality of men and women.
8. Universal education.
9. Harmony of science and religion.
10. Elimination of extremes of wealth and poverty.
11. World government.
12. Protection of cultural diversity.(11)

Interesting, I always thought the Earth was a *planet* and not a
country..I thought the goal of ever Bahai is the spirtual conquest of
*planet* earth for Baha'u'llah. They have'nt even managed one country
yet. I wonder why?
