| SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Hot weather that blanketed North
| Dakota and South Dakota led to some weather records.
|
| The National Weather Service says several cities in the
| western Dakotas set high temperature records on Tuesday,
| from Dickinson in North Dakota to East Rapid City in South
| Dakota.

| Temperatures were in the 90s and the triple digits in the
| two states. The mercury climbed to 110 degrees in Buffalo,
| S.D.
