Wasn't his plan - it was GOPCare ... a half-finished thing
that'd apparently been tossed in a file drawer years ago
and nearly forgotten.

Expect a much improved plan, or plans, to emerge from
the workshop later this year. Maybe Trump will be able
to put his name on it then.

Unfortunately if you fully understand "the swamp" it
means you're stuck in it up to your neck and are in
no position to drain the thing.

This is a case where a somewhat more abstract,
distant, view can actually be more useful.

In the 1940s we did not deeply immerse ourselves
in the fine details of German or Japanese social and
political culture ... we just pointed at something bad
and bombed the shit out of it.

I think that says more about the lens you're
looking through than it does about Trump.

So far Trump doesn't appear particularly better or
worse than a handful of his recent predecessors.
Different style, that's all.

We're not disappointed. We know things take a little
time no matter what candidates SAY. We'll wait. The
end-products WILL be pretty close to what we want.

Replacing Scalia is in-process ... and the Dems really
can't stop it.

Some of Obamas stupider XOs have been reversed.
More and more will be addressed as time allows.

Money IS being withheld from "sanctuaries". A number
of wannabe sanctuaries chickened-out at the thought
of losing federal monies/services.

Work HAS begun on the illegals ... most dangerous
ones first. Work has begun on expanding "the wall"
as well ... though I can't see a physical wall for the
whole length of the border.

The immigration thing ... that may need the new USSC
justice, but it WILL happen. The prez has the authority.

OCare WILL be replaced ... but GOPCare 1.0 wasn't
quite the correct instrument. The fixed-up version will
surely be ready by fall.

So, except for Dem delay tactics, everything seems
right on track. Only little snowflakes demand that
everything be *instant*.

You keep presuming Trump voters will feel one way
about all these events ... when really it's only hardening
their support for Trump - and their spite for the lefties.
Just like the pollsters & pundits, you have Trump voters
all wrong.

Keep up the good work ! We'll be blindsiding you
again and again and again for the next 8 years :-)
