Some things are too wonderful not to rub in. Here we have Al Gore,
winner of the popular vote in 2000 and LEGITIMATE winner of the 2000
election based on the final recount, vs. the guntard hero--crybaby who
used his family influence to get the SCOTUS to certify him the
winner. The SCOTUS gave the guntard hero the Presidency, while Gore
bowed out gracefully, insisting on sparing the country a legal fight.

And we all know what after that. The guntard hero failed miserably to
prevent the first foreign attack on US soil in 50 years, then started
the first major military screwup since Vietnam (now chided by retired
Generals as a monumental disaster), and provided zero leadership in a
Hurricane that devastated Louisiana, a TRIFECTA that earned him a rep
among leading historians as the worst Pres in US history.

Now, while Gore basks in the reward for all his efforts, the crybaby
guntard hero has to hide himself away from the public for fear of
tomatoes being thrown in his face.

"I voted for Bush. He was a much better choice than the
alternatives."

The popular vote doesn't mean shit. We use the electoral college in
this country, as it should be.

When a democrat was in the white house..... that one?

basks at his energy-consuming house, which suck up more energy than,
oh, say, George Bush's energy-efficient ranch home.

I hope Gore gets the award EVERY year. [snicker]

Notice the use of lies and personal, unsubstanitated insults. It appears the

No, I didn't notice. Where are they?

Yep the right loves America so much they made the SCOTUS appoint their
hero, who is now hated by most of America.

The guntard hero sure is baseless. His own party no longer wants him
around.

They were when the GOP got its butt kicked in 2006 in Congress, but

No you uneducated dolt. That one the previous administration left behind for
the present one, since it is documented to have been being planned for in
excess of 2 years meaning 18 months during the previous administration.

No I think he meant the 1993 Twin Towers attack. US soil.

Also there were the African embassies, considered by international law to be
US territory, Khobar Towers, USS Kohl, etc.

Which isn't how a President is elected, but hey, let's not allow facts to
interfere with a good illogical rant.

Outright lies, however, signal the end point of your rant.

Are you talking about the first al Queda attack in the parking garage
at the world trade center in 1993? When Bill Clinton was President?
You're a little math challenged, aren't you, if you think that was 60
years ago.

That's why Gore is a 2007 Nobel Prize winner while the guntard hero is
facing a 69% disapproval rating after starting a discredited war w/a
Third World country the US military is now losing, while his ex-
generals call the whole thing a massive blunder.

Think this guntard was referring to "washed up" in success, rather
opposed to failure.

Except the 2001 attacks were totally preventable. All the guntard
hero had to do was get fighters to shoot down the hijacker planes, and
he failed to do that, because he was on his way to an elementary
school to learn how to read his first book.

No wonder the guntard hero's fellow partymen are so desperately trying

Documented in a dossier prepared by the Clinton admin: bin Laden
determined to attack the US

http://www.americanprogress.org/issues/2004/04/b44925.html

which the guntard hero ignored, because he still was learning to read

No, my Mommy is educated. She didn't marry her brother on the barn

Nope, then they noticed as they warned everyone how pathetic a leader
the guntard hero would turn out to be. . .

. . .and they were right!

"Bush has taken this disdain for law even further. He has sought to
strip people accused of crimes of rights that date as far back as the
Magna Carta in Anglo-American jurisprudence: trial by impartial jury,
access to lawyers and knowledge of evidence against them. In dozens of
statements when signing legislation, he has asserted the right to
ignore the parts of laws with which he disagrees. His administration
has adopted policies regarding the treatment of prisoners of war that
have disgraced the nation and alienated virtually the entire world.
Usually, during wartime, the Supreme Court has refrained from passing
judgment on presidential actions related to national defense. The
court's unprecedented rebukes of Bush's policies on detainees indicate
how far the administration has strayed from the rule of law."

"Historians are loath to predict the future. It is impossible to say
with certainty how Bush will be ranked in, say, 2050. But somehow, in
his first six years in office he has managed to combine the lapses of
leadership, misguided policies and abuse of power of his failed
predecessors. I think there is no alternative but to rank him as the
worst president in U.S. history."

Following the election, recounts conducted by various United States
news media organizations indicated that Bush would have won if certain
recounting methods had been used (including the one favored by Gore at
the time of the Supreme Court decision) but that Gore would have won
had a full state-wide recount been conducted. [14]

Sorry, the source provided shows he won enough electoral votes.

Your denial of reality doesn't alter that.

<snip>

Oh, and for your recount suggestions.

1) Gore never presented any valid cause for a recount of the ballots.
2) Such recount standards had to apply consistently statewide, not county
wide as you suggest
3) Dimpled or incomplete chads were by ESTABLISHED STANDARDS, INVALID.

Further if you want to get really technical then under the law Gore lost
several hundred thousand votes when the results in several areas were NOT
certified as called for by the law within the 11 day period set forth by
Florida Election law.

Though I suppose you will tell me that "...shall be ignored..." doesn't mean
what it says.

But, we are suppose to ignore what the law says because well that would mean
that Gore didn't win, and we couldn't have that.......

...here we go again with the election whining again. Dude...you need to
play golf and learn the difference between stroke play (analagous to popular
vote) and match play (analagous to electoral college). They are two
completely different games, requiring different strategies. So when a
candidates are out spending time and money, they go after electoral
votes...not popular votes. Gore flat lost any way you want to look at it.
And do you REALLY believe that SCOTUS was bought off? And Gore bowed out
gracefully? Sheesh, he is still whining.

Point - Gore never established just cause as set forth by Florida election
law for any need for an additional recount.

"(3) The complaint shall set forth the grounds on which the contestant
intends to establish his or her right to such office or set aside the result
of the election on a submitted referendum. The grounds for contesting an
election under this section are:
(a) Misconduct, fraud, or corruption on the part of any election official
or any member of the canvassing board sufficient to change or place in doubt
the result of the election.

(b) Ineligibility of the successful candidate for the nomination or office
in dispute.

(c) Receipt of a number of illegal votes or rejection of a number of legal
votes sufficient to change or place in doubt the result of the election.

(d) Proof that any elector, election official, or canvassing board member
was given or offered a bribe or reward in money, property, or any other
thing of value for the purpose of procuring the successful candidate's
nomination or election or determining the result on any question submitted
by referendum. "

102.168

Hence there was NO reason whatsoever to conduct any further state wide
recounts, particularly given that Gore NEVER filed the necessary paperwork,
much less established a valid reason for such a recount.

Strike One.

>· Standard as set by each county Canvassing Board during their
>survey Gore by 171

Wrong, the standards shall be consistent across the state as set by the
Florida legislature, NOT by each county

"(c) Any manual recount must be completed in accord with standards for
counting chads that are uniform across the counties. The Legislature has
directed: "The Department of State shall adopt rules prescribing standards
for ballots used in electronic or electromechanical voting systems. Such
standards shall ensure that ballots are counted in a uniform and consistent
manner and shall include, without limitation, standards for the ... Scoring
of ballots. FLA STAT.§101.5609(8) (emphasis added). See also
FLA.STAT.§97.012 (the Secretary of State shall "Obtain and maintain
uniformity in the application, operation, and interpretation of the election
laws)."

Strike Two.

>· Fully punched chads and limited marks on optical ballots
>Gore by
>115
>· Any dimples or optical mark Gore by 107
>· One corner of chad detached or optical mark Gore by 60

Wrong again dimpled or pregnant chads are NOT valid, as per Florida law, nor
is one corner detached.

"(b) "Any manual recount cannot count dimpled or pregnant chads. If a manual
recount is done, it should not count a ballot as a vote unless the ballot
left a "clear indication of the intent of the voter as determined by the
canvassing board." FLA.STAT.§101.5614(5). See also FLA.STAT. §102.166(7)(b).
This was previously determined by the only canvassing board to address the
issue before this election, Palm Beach County, as meaning that chads could
only be counted as votes if at least two corners were detatched, and not if
the chad was merely dimpled or pregnant. See: Petitioner Exh. J. Prior to
this election, no Florida county board had ever counted a dimpled or
pregnant ballot as a vote."

Strike THREEEEEeeeeee.

You're OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope. You couldn't even go one full paragraph without a demonstrable lie.
Even the Miami Herald's recount showed Bush as the winner, possibly because
democrats really are simply too stupid to operate something as complicated
[snicker] as a punch card voting machine, but the winner anyway. Bush's
modest energy efficient ranch house beats Gore's ENERGY GUZZLING mansion
hands down too making Bush the real practicing environmentalist and Gore the

Nope, we prefer to rely on the LATEST data. . .

No you prefer to rely on any data that supports your halfbaked theory. If
you really believe this crap how much of a gutless piece of shit do you have
to be to let the election be stolen and not use force to take the country
back? Do you even deserve the freedom you have?

Noted terrorist leader Yassar Arafat won one too. He and Gore are part of
the same club now. How sweet. Too bad Arafat's dead. He and Gore could have
some great times.

Sure we can, Florida conducted one. Gore lost. He then proceeded with
attempting to fix the election by holding recounts in select areas (a
violation of Florida law) and otherwise violating the existing election

I've addressed your so called "evidence" with real facts as established by
the law. Further I've shown that Bush, not Gore, won the last recount and
hence your claim to the contrary is false. Indeed we cut Gore quite a bit of
slack because if the laws concerning the election were adhered to fully, he
would have lost several hundred thousand votes when the results in the 4
districts he was attempting to conduct the illegal recounts failed to
certify their results as called for by Florida statute.

"(3) If the returns are not received by the department by the time
specified, such returns shall be ignored and the results on file at that
time shall be certified by the department. "

After all, "....shall be ignored...." seems pretty cut and dried to me.

%%%% Al Gore gets his power from a coal fired plant in Gallatin Tn. for both
of his mansions. His "Green Switch program" is just a shell game where he
pays himself. There is no green power in hundreds of miles of Nashville Tn.

%%%% It's not a problem winning against your 5 y/o mentality.

The Academy Award for "Best Documentary"

So the Oscar was devalued when Moore and Gore got it
