Guns aren't banned and shouldn't be. While you're smirking with your
hard on about a non-USA mass shooting how many deaths from the use of
guns in America so far this year. Interesting you're doing something
about COVID-19 and believing the medicos and other scientists but when
it comes to guns ..................

"It is now illegal to possess an unregistered handgun or any kind of
rapid-fire weapon in Canada. The country also requires training, a
personal risk assessment, two references, spousal notification and
criminal record checks to purchase a weapon."

I don't know of any society in which guns are *banned*, per se. It's
dubious that it's even possible; however, the extent to which a
society reduces gun proliferation and lethality, is correlated with a
reduction in gun killings. They will never go completely away;
however, Canada has only a small fraction of US fatalities.

When the information is released, my guess is that we'll learn that
the assult rifle he used originated in the US.

More Jonesy lies. There is no correlation between gun proliferation and violent
crime. If there were, The US should be at or near the top in terms of
homicides because it has far and away the most guns per capita. The reality is
the US is in the middle of the pack in terms of homicides per capita.

Here's where the libtards offer their excuses to eliminate those countries from
the comparison to the US that don't fit their false narrative.

Then educate yourself.

That's because they're bigots and racists.

Of course. We can't compare the US to countries that don't speak English and/or are
not predominantly white.

Note how Jones desperately needs to assume an "assault rifle" was
used. He's too stupid to understand how 16 people could possibly be
murdered without one.

"Mass shootings are relatively rare in Canada. The country overhauled its
gun-control laws after gunman Marc Lepine killed 14 women and himself at
Montreal’s Ecole Polytechnique college in 1989. Before this weekend's
rampage, that had been the country's worst."

Looks like the laws work pretty well. How many such shootings in the US
since 1989?

"Police are still investigating how Wortman was able to obtain a number of
firearms – a mix of pistols and long-barrelled guns.

"Only one of weapons has been traced back to Canada. The rest are believed
to have originated in the United States."

How 'bout dat?

That because Canada has no firearms industry to speak of.
