Obama's Sons Strike Again!! Baltimore police investigating three
weekend shootings
One life-threatening, two non-life-threatening

City police are investigating three weekend shootings, one each in
West, Southeast and North Baltimore.
The first two occurred Saturday. In the first, the victim was shot in
the back by a suspect wearing a mask, police said. In the second, the
victim had a bullet graze his head.
The victim in the third shooting, which occurred late Sunday,
sustained injuries so severe that homicide detectives were called to
the scene.
About 1:38 p.m. Saturday, police said they responded to the 2900 block
of McElderry Street for a report of a shooting.
A 21-year-old man there told police he was parked in the 500 block of
N. Streeper Street in the McElderry Park neighborhood of Southeast
Baltimore when he was shot by an unknown man wearing a gray hooded
sweat shirt and a black ski mask.
The man said he ran north on Streeper Street and the suspect ran in an
unknown direction. Police suspect robbery was a motive in the
shooting.
The man was taken to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening
wound to the back, police said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Southeast
District detectives at 410-396-2422.
Just before midnight Saturday, police were called to the 2600 block of
Lauretta Avenue in the Rosemont Homeowners neighborhood in West
Baltimore for a report of another shooting.
There they found a 31-year-old man lying in grass and suffering from a
graze wound from a bullet on his head, police said.
The man was transported to an area hospital, police said. His injury
was not considered life-threatening, police said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Western
District detectives at 410-396-2477.
About 10:01 p.m. Sunday, police were dispatched to the 5700 block of
Chinquapin Parkway, in the Glen Oaks neighborhood of North Baltimore,
for a report of gunfire, police said.
They found a victim there suffering from critical injuries. Homicide
detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
No further information was immediately available.
