Arthur Danto "End of Art History" question

Philosopher/art critic Arthur Danto has written repeatedly about his
encounter with Andy Warhol's Brillo Boxes in 1963, and how that
exhibition represented the end of art history, because art at that point
had become philosophy--a question about its own nature.

An obvious question to ask Danto is why this was true in Warhol's
moment, but not true at the time of Duchamp's readymades.

I believe that Danto has addressed this, but I'm not sure where. Can
anyone here point me toward the relevant book or essay?

What happened to me is called "Latent talent";caused by a wild gene
that traveled down through time to end up in my genetic code book.It
is untraceable.

Melvin Fullerton now 80+ years old and still painting my beautiful
orginal creative art style-last one Jan.1-7 2000.Working on a history
book.I now have an art collection in excess of 400 paintings in my
studio.

Its equally amazing how many people think they are artists;who post on
newsgroups of FINE ART.Who couldnt paint a picket fence.This news group
is loaded "crayon Painters."
