As for Ardi, the broadcast is an effort to inform regarding
the recent revelation of the details on a transitional fossil
find of importance regarding the evolution in our ancestral
line, which transpired 4.4 million years ago.

Can someone explain how such findings can be seen as for or against
the god question?

If we find a planet somewhere in our galaxy that has an olympic games
every four (of their) years, same question.

Surely 'life' is the reality, and if so , how can life discover life
and somehow change ones perspective, or influence it to begin with?

What influence has caused you to believe the way you believe, either
for or against?

Since you added the alt.philosophy newsgroup to the
discussion, and have posed some philosophical inquiries,
I'll address your questions from a philosophical viewpoint.

The god question, requires context to ascertain which, of
the many, god questions you're referring to.

As for finding olympic games elsewhere in the Milky Way
galaxy, the context would be of import.

Life and much more is the reality.

The totality of life, from all that preceded the particular con-
ception that ended up in the present 'me', to your post, and
all points in between, that would sum up the totality of that
which makes up the acceptance and lack thereof regarding
stances on which this particular individual is asked to evalu-
ate.
