If you go to Google to search the graphic will take you to information
on Turana boy if you click on it.

This was an amazing find in terms of its completeness and showed that
Homo erectus were essentially like modern humans from the neck down by
the time Turkana boy existed 1.5 million years ago. Reconstructions
usually show the rib cage as reducing in diameter towards the waist like
modern humans. Neanderthals have the more ape like widening of the rib
cage towards the waist. Beats me if the Homo erectus reconstructions
are accurate, but if they are the Neanderthal condition would be a
derived condition likely to support the additional muscle that their
more robust bones indicated that they had.
