While I love that quote, I don't think it's fair to apply it to pre-
Darwin creationists, who seemed to be honestly searching for an
alternative explanation. It might even be inappropriate for most of
today's rank and fike creationists, who just parrot feel-good sound
bites that sound plausible to them. But for today's anti-evolution
activists, especially of the "don't ask, don't tell" ID variety, I can
think of no more perfect description.

The usual Victorian politically correct entry on the death
certificate. The autopsy was carried out by a close friend and monkey
theorist. (Surprising really that death wasn't caused by swinging in
trees whilst eating a banana.)

And what was the cause of the heart attack? Whatever else was said of
him, he wasn't a lard-bucket, so it was down to a massively failing
immune system...
