This one in particular:

I looked on Panda's Thumb but only found a rebuttal article by Arthur
Hunt written in 2004:
http://pandasthumb.org/archives/2007/01/92-second-st-fa.html#comment-panels
Curiously Douglas Axe responded a couple days ago:
http://biologicinstitute.org/2011/05/04/correcting-four-misconceptions-about-my-2004-article-in-jmb/
(strange due to how long ago the response to Axe himself was written)
Any ideas?
The reason I am curious is because this seems like at least some
people in the ID movement are making open , public attempts to engage
in the scientific community. The credibility of the journal may be in
question, but it seems that since such information is out there for
anybody, I am sure someone has thrown a word or two in.
My main criticism of Axe in this instance (it has been brought up
before), is that he didn't try to send this to any mainstream Biology
journal.

It looks like the Bio-Complexity journal just started publication and
is a replacement for the failed ISCID flop.
The Axe article being discussed by Hunt was published in the Journal
of Molecular Biology before the ID Perp's scam research institute was
founded (Biologic Institute where Axe got hired and may still be
there).
The question that you should be asking is that after 6 years did Axe's
research paper amount to anything. It doesn't matter what rebuttal he
can make to someone writing at the Panda's Thumb, but what anyone ever
did with the research. Has anyone confirmed any of the conclusions
that Axe wants to make out of the results? Where is the research at
now? Was any progress made? If the research had been productive Axe
would have had several more publications supporting whatever he wants
to claim from the research by now, not just articles in a pretend
journal published by a bunch of creationist scam artists that are
running a bogus bait and switch scam on their own creationist support
base.

Perhaps. This is why I brought up him not posting in more well known
journals regarding his work in BIO-Complexity. If his work does refute
Evolutionary theory then it would seem kind of important to get the
news out. Why not submit his articles to Nature? Probably because he
feels that it would not go through for obvious reasons. Then again,
crying oppression would be the next course of action as demonstrated
by many ID proponents.
