The Key Difference Between Jesus and a Socialist
Letters, May 9, 2022, WSJ

Prof. Alexander William Salter’s “Jesus a Socialist? That’s a Myth”
(Houses of Worship, April 22) is certainly correct. But the reason
is even simpler than Mr. Salter’s explanation. Nowhere in the
Christian scriptures does Jesus teach, urge or even remotely suggest
that the power of the state should be enlisted to enforce his teachings
about the poor or any other subject. If anything, quite the contrary.
While certain clerics may prefer socialism, that is only the
sociopolitical view of individuals.

Öööh! The man with the yellow ring around his head.

https://privat.bahnhof.se/wb583958/dss.png

A socialist is human. The man with the yellow ring around his head is based on a natuaral phenomenon, a solar eclipse.

That is the big diffrence.

Ancient astrologists tried to figure out why the man with the yellow ring around his head appeared.
Why did the sun die in the middle of the day.
What did we do wrong.
What should we do.
This was a good way to control the people.
Do as we say or the lights will go out!
This later turned into religion that became christianity.

Right wing polititians try to enforce their right wing politics by refering to the man with the yellow ring around his head.

(The man with the yellow ring around his head is identical in its origin to the man in the eternal fire so the trinity is actually a quartet with the devil as the fourth member)

DOCETEISM
Docetism is broadly defined as any teaching that claims that Jesus' body was either absent or illusory.

17/18thC Antique JESUS CHRIST Crown of Thorns Icon Oil Painting
Time left: 1 day 4 hours -- Friday, 7:27PM
Current bid: $207.50 [ 25 bids ]
Located in: Cumberland, Rhode Island
https://www.ebay.com/itm/354053444182
DESCRIPTION: Measuring 10 ¾” by 11 ¼”, this early portrait
painting of Jesus Christ dates form the 17th century and was
relined sometime during the late 18th or early 19th century.
Jesus is depicted wearing the thorn of crowns and wrapped in
a red shawl. Although they do not glow under the blacklight
we did find two small repairs to this canvas painting, which
we have accented with arrows in our photographs. There are
also a couple of tiny paint flecks to the left of the crown,
Despite these problems, this authentic 17th century Oil Painting
of Jesus Christ is in very good condition and it comes in a
16 ¼” by 18 ¾” sponge-gold painted frame.

Oh, there were a _lot_ of itinerant rabbis/preachers/whatever roaming Judea
and points nearby in the early 1st century CE/AD/whatever. (And in the 1st
century BCE/BC/whatever. And the 2nd century of both. And at least until, oh,
the 7th century CE, quite possibly later.) Itinerant preachers seem to spring
out of the rocks and the sand in those parts, and there are a lot of rocks
and sand. The odds are excellent that at least one would be named
“Yeshua†and had a dozen or so fanatical followers; Yeshua was a
damn common name, after all. All that would be needed would be if he and/or
the followers met up with a good PR guy, say, maybe, one from, oh, Syria, and
we’re off to the races.

Ah... a 17th/18th century painting proves not a damn thing about a 1st
century rabbi. I have before me a painting of the EarthForce destroyer
Agamemnon jumping out of hyperspace, forward guns firing. I suspect that this
does little to prove the existence of John J. Sheridan... someone else who,
according to his followers, rose from the dead.

Hmm. I’m going to start rewatching all of Babylon 5, from season one, over
the weekend.
