Ron's brain on lipids:

" Once you got a self replicating molecule that made lipids,
lipids would increase in concentration around these self replicators and
would eventually form the lipid bilayer bubbles."

https://groups.google.com/g/talk.origins/c/DwmjaAu-PZ4/m/_h19InRABAAJ

"One of the earliest episodes in the evolution of life may have been the formation of a membrane that enclosed a solution different from the surrounding solution while still permitting the uptake of nutrients and elimination of waste products. The ability of the cell to discriminate in its chemical exchanges with its environment is fundamental to life, and it is the plasma membrane and its component molecules that make this selectivity possible."

Lipids self-assemble into bilayer micelles, so first life would not

Hey Glenn, does that mean you actually understand what you snip and run
from? What does that say about you?

Do you have any comment to make that would counter or add to anything
that you put up instead of your usual stupid one liner?

What you put up was a statement about the importance of developing a
membrane, and you put it up after a partial statement by me about how
such a lipid membrane could have developed. The two seem to complement
each other, but your initial statement seems to indicate that you don't
understand what you just posted.

If you say so.
