Auntie Beeb's Radio 4 offers an interesting non-technical, possibly
over-simplified, prog about whitebeams, /Sorbus spp/, speciating before
our eyes (<fundie bleat/>"...but they're still whitebeams" </fundie
bleat>). Repeated on Wednesday 6th at 2100hrs; IIUC, it annoyingly won't
come up on iPlayer.

<http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00pk9s3#synopsis> for the prog itself.

for the science schedule.

You can iPlay this one, though: daily historical look at the Royal
Society. Sketchy, of course, but informative. They did John Wilkins
yesterday, Ben Franklin this morning.
