I have been apparently blocked from starting threads. I have no idea why.

My impression is Beagle's filters aren't advanced enough to be that
selective.

the filter is only supposed to block posts with more than four crossposts

I can't see my text post. This is happening in other groups
as well. That's why I cleared my filters just in case they were
interfering.

Did you try any of the news servers I mentioned to you last month?

My apologies, I completely missed that post. Many of your
posts were not appearing as well Could I persuade
you to repost here? Thanks.

Also occasional use of edit filters such as the 'Swedish Chef filter'.
Bork!, bork!, bork!

Since his first 'test post' went through his problem was probably not
Beagle related.

I've seen a number of responses to you but a number of your
posts that elicited those responses did not display, while other
times I do see your posts. There doesen't seem to be a
discernable
pattern. I'm using Giganews and I am now seeing your posts.
As I said I cleared my filters so perhaps there was some sort
of conflict in them.

I was using Eternal September and will try using that again
as a comparison. Thanks for reposting your response.

I acknowledge the temptation to throw things at a problem until it
works, but my experience is problems that "fix themselves" later on
unfix themselves. Based on the apparent erratic nature of your
missing posts, your filters likely are involved, but they may not be
your only problem.

Instead I suggest you use the scientific method and change one thing
at a time. It may take longer short term, but since you have known
about it for several weeks, and may unknowingly had the problem even
longer, ISTM fixing it isn't so urgent that it require emergency
measures.

Agreed, I'm working on that now. One thing at a time.
In fact right here I'm seeing your post but not mine to
which you are replying. So the problem is still there.
