On July 17-19 environmentalists and food activists
from throughout the US will get together for the "First
Grassroots Gathering on Biodevastation: Genetic
Engineering." Hosted by the Gateway Green Alliance,
Pure Food Campaign and the Edmonds Institute, the
gathering will be in St. Louis, home of Monsanto, the
most powerful single player in biotechnology industry.
The first group to become a cosponser was the St. Louis

A good part of the genetic engineering gathering will be
devoted to building action networks between
environmentalists, farmers and workers.
