I've got this friend who was being overly pretentious the other day and
was wielding the word "copesthetic" around like it was a proverbial
2000lb weight.
Anyone have the correct spelling for this word and a definition?
The closest match that Framemaker could come up with for correct spelling
was "chopsticks". :)

Copasetic (sl.) (also Copacetic, Copesetic); groovy, cool, fine, O-TAY
(ala Buttwheat, aka Eddie Murphy), bitchin', FAR OUT, ...

Copacetic, copasetic, or copesetic are all "completely satisfactory"
spellings.

not necessarily. "fine" is acceptable as an adverb, meaning "finely."

according to my Webster's, which also says "origin unknown".
