Here's what I don't get: you have dozens of soldiers in a room. One
chubby little guy stands up and starts blasting away with a handgun,
managing to get off dozens of shots ("allegedly more than 100" to
quote the Wikipedia article), shooting 43 people and killing 13; many
of these uniformed soldiers were shot rom behind while running away.
Hasan kept on shooting, focusing on soldiers in uniform, till civilian
cops showed up to shoot back.

Is the whole U.S. Army comprised of stupid cowards or is this problem
restricted to those stationed in Texas? What happened to the vaunted
"collective killer instinct," that Army HOO-AH!?! Why didn't a bunch
of these U.S. soldiers rush, swarm, disarm and perhaps beat to death
this *one* chubby little guy firing *one* handgun? Quickly?

Maybe we need to fire most of our current troops and hire some Sioux.
